Adults and new students:

Winter 2007 Registration begins January 14th and continues through January 31st
Monday through Thursday  9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Evening advisors will be available:
Tuesday, January 29th and Wednesday, January 30, 2008 from 5-6:30 pm

Classes begin Monday, February 4th 2008

New 16 & 17 year olds must:
*take a referral paper to their home school to be filled out and returned
*bring in transcripts with shot records
*bring in proof of age (birth cert. or driver’s license) and social security card
*take a 65 minute mandatory assessment test in reading and math

In-school youth
Students currently enrolled in a regular day school but need a class or two to graduate
MUST HAVE A LETTER FROM THEIR HIGH SCHOOL COUNSELOR!

Fees: Flint Schools            $100 per class
          County schools       $150 per class

GED
Students must be 18 years old and their class must have graduated to take the GED.
          Fees:           $200 complete test
                             $40 retakes
                             $30 non-refundable seat deposit

 

All people with high school diplomas or in-school youth must pay for classes.


WHO MAY ENROLL?
        Potential students must be 16 years old by September 1st of the current school year or older. Classes for high school completion and GED are free for those who qualify. There is a nominal tuition fee for high school graduates.

          At the Zimmerman Center, 2421 W. Corunna Road, Flint, MI 48503 or Broome Center, 4119 N. Saginaw Street, Flint, MI 48505.

 

WHEN DO YOU ENROLL?
           Registration occurs throughout the year for a limited number of classes. The regular Fall and Winter registration occurs as follows:
