Full House at the Genesee Chapter Meeting! It was an exciting and informative meeting of the Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel, with Superintendent Kevelin Jones as the guest speaker. Superintendent Jones shared valuable updates on the District’s academic initiatives, highlighted the $150 million in investments focused on student success and building improvements, and discussed the exciting plans for the Central-Whittier Campus redevelopment. Greetings ALA, We will hold TESTING April 15th - 17th for MStep 11, Spring SAT, & PSAT. ALL scholars MUST participate in testing. For Wednesday, 4/16 - Only those students testing are allowed to be onsite. All others are off. *Seniors will not attend UNLESS they are testing, but please find volunteer opportunities.

Today is the first day of Spring Break! Flint Community Schools will be on Spring Break from March 31st to April 4th. There will be no school for scholars during this time. However, the district's administrative offices will remain open. Enjoy your break, relax, and recharge! We look forward to seeing our scholars back and ready to learn after the break. School will resume on April 7, 2025.
